All six Northville elementary schools earned spots on the 2024 Leader in Me Lighthouse Academic Honor Roll, ranking in the top 94th percentile in Michigan for academic proficiency. Ahlam Salem, a Resource Teacher at Hillside Middle School, has been appointed by Governor Gretchen Whitmer to the Governor’s Educator Advisory Council. Salem will serve a term from September 2024 through May 2028, advising on public education legislation and best practices in Michigan's education system.

Danielle Pigeon created the LemonAid Challenge to raise awareness for pediatric cancer after her daughter, Emilia, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma. Participants bite into four lemon slices, donate based on their completion time, and share their videos on social media to highlight the urgent need for increased funding and support for children with cancer.

Northville and Novi are in the final stretch of their Baseline Blitz fundraising competition, with the winner set to be announced during halftime at the Northville vs. Novi football game this Friday, October 18th. Community members can still support by donating and joining the excitement at the Baseline Blitz Tailgate before the big game.

Northville Public Schools is gearing up for the next phase of Bond 2023 projects, with detailed planning and design work underway to prepare for major construction starting in the spring. This phase involves collaboration between architects, engineers, and the district’s team to ensure the new facilities meet the needs of the community.

Tickets are now on sale for Northville High School Choir’s Fall Concert, Singing Through the Ages, on Wednesday, October 23 at 7:00 p.m. in the NHS Auditorium. Tickets are $10, and donations of $40 or more will include your family name in the concert program.
