Who we are:
The Dad's club was formed to ensure that our students have the best tools to learn in a safe and positive environment while supporting a variety of programs and leadership opportunities through fundraising and social events. As a network of active Dads, we also look to provide support to the teachers and staff at Ridge Wood. Our annual events typically include “Movie Night”, a “Parent’s Night Out” fundraiser and our very popular “Daddy Daughter Dance”. We also conduct various “Dad’s Club Smoothie” fundraisers throughout the year as well as a “Spring Clean Up”. Although the past two school years have been challenging given the current environment, we still continue to support our students and staff with various programs and teacher appreciation events.
Where and When we Meet:
The club typically meets at 8:00PM on the third Thursday of every month at the Northville Sports Den. Typically, a few days prior we will send out a reminder to the group. During these meetings we will typically discuss upcoming fundraisers or other projects that come up during the year. Key projects sponsored by the Dad's Club include, the annual Daddy Daughter Dance, Parents Night Out, fundraisers for the staff/students, property cleanup, and other ad hoc events.
