We had Northville's Bicentennial Celebration, we expanded our historical focus this year. Our community's rich history traces back to 1827, when early pioneers first settled along the Rouge River and the area was officially recognized as a town. The Bicentennial Celebration theme was reflected in the activities in which students participated.

Starting in the 2026–27 school year, Northville Public Schools is restricting K-8 students from using personal devices in class or emailing outside the district domain to comply with a new Michigan state law and enhance digital safety.

Northville Public Schools has hired 24 new teachers and specialists across all grade levels for the 2026–27 academic year, with first-year educators making up 62% of the diverse incoming cohort.
